Hotel Sofitel - San Francisco

Toward the second half of 2001, as the Silicon Valley economy continued to slide, cutting cost in bay area hotels became a priority. Just after September 11th, Pellerin Laundry Machinery, acting as a distributor for NuTek International, Inc. installed an NT-400 and an NT-300 Ozone Laundry Support System™ in the Hotel Sofitel, in Redwood City, California.

The property has seen both productivity increases through shorter wash and dry Sofitel cycles and cost savings through hot water reductions. According to the Executive Housekeeper, "Whenever the hotel used to go over 300 rooms, we had to run overtime in the laundry to finish with the days work. Now, we are able to get through in our normal hours, even when the hotel is full."
